Backups are generally stored in Documents/JRiver/Media Center 21/Library Backups/

They should have dates in their names, so you can pick the one you want; probably the newest one.

Yes, you can.  Skins aren't automatically restored; they aren't part of the backup.  You need to copy the skin from the Media Center 21/Skins/ directory to the Media Center 22/Skins directory.

I can't find modern skin folder on MC21... Could you please provide full path to skins directory? Is it only one version of modern skin for mac or for MC22 I need to find newer version ?

blgentry:
The skins folder is in your user's Library folder.  This folder is sort of hidden by default. The full path is:

~/Library/Application Support/J River/Media Center 21/Skins/Standard View

The ~ means "your user directory". The easy way to get there from Finder is to press <shift><Command>G .  Then type "~/Library" in the dialog that comes up.  That will take you to your Library folder.  Then just navigate down the directory tree until you get to the correct folder.  Then open a new Finder window and copy to the MC22 folder.
