MC 22 Causing Bluescreen on New Build w/ Win 10 Pro (Need Help)

(1/1)

famu97:
Hey guys I'm running MC 22 and it's causing a bluescreen and crashing my htpc.  To be honest MC 21 was doing this as well.  MC was running fine for years until I recently upgraded my htpc.  It's a new AMD build. The reason I know MC is causing the bluescreen error "kernel security check failed" is because as soon as I installed MC after a clean Win 10 install, it bluescreens soon after it's installed and I start using MC.  I believe there's some file that's being installed as part of the MC installation that's incompatible with something that this new AMD chipset or something on Win 10.  The only other software I've installed is Intel Wireless drivers, RealTek NIC drivers, & AMD ATI Radeon R7 graphics drivers. All of these drivers I've downloaded from the vendor and they are Win 10 64-bit drivers.  Here's my new setup below.

Is Anyone else seeing this issue?  What I really needs is for the MC dev's to see if they can reproduce this problem to let me know if this is actual bug or some sort.

* AMD 7890K APU with Radeon R7 graphics (Quad-core 4.1GHz CPU & 8 Graphics cores)
* Corsair H60 Liquid cooler
* Win 10 Pro 64-bit
* MSI A88XI AC V2 Mini-ITX Motherboard
* ASUS Blu-ray Burner
* 8GB RAM
* Samsung 840 SSD for the OS
* Seagate 5TB HDD for Data

I stand corrected. I did another fresh install without installing MC and I still got the BSOD kernel security check error.  So there's something else going on here.

Awesome Donkey:
A way to get an idea what could be causing it is to check the minidumps with a program like BlueScreenView.

JimH:
Blue screens are usually driver problems.  Video drivers are the first place to look.
