Your license file is for a different product
« on: July 25, 2016, 11:34:14 am »

I got a trial copy of MC21 in April. After the trial time ran out I decided to buy. I went to the purchase page and selected the version for Windows, put in credit card info etc, and when I hit enter the last time I realized (too late) that it was going to download MC22. It won't install - I get an error msg. If MC22 is still in development, why did I get that instead of the expected MC21? If I had wanted MC22 I would have bought it at the reduced price, not the full price that I paid. I wanted MC21 but there is nothing on the Purchase page that says which version of MC you're buying, just which OS it is for. What do I do now?

You bought a "Media Center 22 Windows" license.  Thanks!

It should work fine with the latest MC21 or the coming MC22.

You might have to update v21 if you're running an old version which doesn't support the newer license.
Not sure why you'd want to run v21 instead of v22 though.
