Decided to upgrade today and to do a clean install (just to be sure). This also meant I had to import my library again (about 150000 songs in 2000 albums roughly). No problem it just takes 20-30 minutes normally, but mediacenter kept crashing on import and it then tells me I'm trying to do run a second import at the same time which is not true.
Decided to switch off auto import, restarted mediacenter and this solved the problem but it seems like a bug. Tried it on my second machine also, same problem, same solution.
The first machine has all the files local, the second one uses the first machine's mediadisk as a network share (I know I can use DLNA for this, but I'm also using my second machine to edit the tags etc and this way they don't keep each other awake).

On a clean install MC will automatically start an import process when you first run it, or it is run directly after installation. A countdown to start the import is shown in the Action window. Unless you stopped the countdown, Auto-Import started and was running in the background when you tried to run a manual import.
Either that or MC21 was still running in the background. You did turn off MC21 start with Windows, right?
