When in options/audio/dsp & output format/Equalizer I was adjusting the preamp input, set up for 7.1, boosting the Preamp….. the subwoofer level remained constant regardless of PreAmp boost. Consequently the subwoofer level appeared “lower” when overall level was boosted.

This is by design, but I'm not really sure why. I floated the question to our equalizer expert.

CRASH REPORT, REPEATABLE PROBLEM:
I ran the capitalization tool to "fix" a large bunch of Album titles. Worked OK. But of course it altered some titles inappropriately, so I was working with a View by Album to find and fix them. I found several albums properly named "AM...." that were changed to "Am", so I was editing these titles, working directly in the view tree.
I clicked and edited one album, no problem typing "M" to to replace "m". Hoping to just move to the very next album beginning with "Am", instead of pressing Enter I pressed Down Arrow. MC instead jumped down about a screen's worth, as if I had pressed PageDown...hmmm. I went back up to the next "Am" album, edited it, and again pressed Down Arrow. MC crashed.
Repeating the same actions causes the same crash. Always, the first use of DownArrow jumps focus way down, to an item many records down in the current view, or even to a different view several items lower in the tree. Seems to be a random jump, but it always happens on the first use of DownArrow. THEN, on the second edit then DownArrow, MC crashes.

I'm not sure if this is a Windows 10 problem or a Media Center 21/22 problem. I noticed after I installed MC22 and then deinstalled MC21, the MC21 tray icon option was still in the taskbar notification list (Settings -> Personalization -> Taskbar -> Select which icons appear on the taskbar). When both the MC21 and MC22 notifications icons were switched to on, it caused a UAC notification. I had to clear the taskbar icon cache via the registry to make it disappear. Besides that, smooth sailing.
