j river app won't move songs to playlist

I have a bunch of playlists and when I am listening I'd like to have the ability to move a song to a playlist using the iphone app.  It seems to work fine on the app - I get a message stating that the file has been moved to the playlist, but it doesn't actually occur in JRiver.  I have to get up and manually do it on the Mac.  Is there a problem with the Mac platform?

To make any changes to the library, like rating songs, making playlists... any kind of changes.... you need Authentication enabled (username and password).

First set it up in MC on the Mac:  Tools > Options > Media Network > Authentication

Then stop and restart MC.  Next, enter the username and password in JRemote under your server definition.  Then stop and restart JRemote.  Then you should be able to make changes from JRemote.
