[year] field inconsistently available...

Available in the search box wizard (converted to [Date (year)].  Not available to use directly in the search box.

[Date (year)] not available in either Tag window.

[year] Available in legacy Tag window.  Not available in experimental-Tag window.

Available in views, expressions, smartlists, but no longer available in Manage Library fields.

I've always used [year] with every album, and in loads of smartlists, but keep getting tripped up by these inconsistencies.

I seem to remember some deliberate change to [year] was made?

If it has been deprecated, then my use of it now counts as a user field?  But then why doesn't it show up in my Manage Library?  Is it being deliberately hidden?

Any clarification would certainly be useful...

Coming next build:
Fixed: The Year field wouldn't show up in the new tag window properly.
