Output format adjustment trouble
blgentry:
Usually you don't need to do anything specific in Audio MIDI setup for MC to properly control your external USB DACs.
First, try some "safe" audio settings in MC:
Tools > Options > Audio > Audio Device > Device settings >
Integer Mode > (Uncheck)
channel offset : 0
Buffering:
software: 250 mS (or more)
hardware: Default
Then close everything, STOP MC, and restart it.
If that doesn't make any difference I would try removing the jitterbug. If that doesn't fix it, I would try a different USB port.
Finally, if none of that works, (or maybe before?) I'd set the Dragonfly to 32bit Integer output.
Good luck.
Brian.

After reverting to the default settings on the first day once, everything seemed to settle in and has been stable and locked in to output 96,000 hz for the last week. I think the problem is solved. Thanks, AL
