External Player Option
« on: August 16, 2016, 07:50:51 pm »

Is there a way to use an external video player ? If so, how would one go about setting that up?

Thank you and take care,

Rob

under tools-options-filetypes you can associate each file extension to run in an external application.  I'm thinking there is a way to configure jriver to prompt you for which program you would like to use as well.

Cool, thank you that worked, but that led to another problem....

Now I get a "File Not Found" from MPC-HC when it starts up.

Seems to be the the same problem as number 4 from this post:

The post does not provide a solution.

Anyone know what's going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you and take care,

Rob

I was using the External Program (custom) option when I was having the file not found failure.

I set $$$$$$ to be the default in Win7, then used the External Program (default) JRiver option and all works well now.

Still would be nice to figure out what that file not found failure is...

Thank you for all the help.

Take care,

Rob

Edit - removed name of external video program
