Free Codec Alternatives (Real & QT)
« on: July 29, 2003, 12:18:06 pm »

Recently, someone showed me some programs that are supposed to allow you to use Real and QT-related content without having either player installed.  I gave Real Alternative a shot and it doesn't seem to be compatible with MC9.1.  Has anyone else used this codecs successfully?

Well, so far, it doesn't work.  I'm going to give it a shot on my laptop.  Currently, when using Real Alternative, MC acts like it's going to play whatever was clicked on in the browser but then just plays whatever is already in the current playlist (if anything).
