Another issue with Mac version

Mac version recently installed.
Configured to load server and JRiver desktop at time Mac laptop is booted.

At some point it seems the desktop version is not visible.  Trying to load the desktop by clicking the JRiver icon: icon will bounce a few times but no desktop version shows up.

Only solution is to reboot laptop

Suggestions, help appreciated
