That's a good catch. I just checked my recording rules and some use "contains" and some use "is".

I recall a while back I had a problem when the John Wayne movie "Donovan's reef" was recorded without mu knowledge and I didn't know why.
It turned out my recording rule for the science program "NOVA" was "contains NOVA", so I got the recording "Donovan's reef".

I suspect something in the TV's recording rules default settings may have changed somewhere along the way.
It seems it would be better if MC defaulted to using "IS" and not "contains".

Many more recordings would be missed if it defaulted to "IS", as often EPG data doesn't exactly match the program name. At least in my part of the world.
