UI question - locked View and Zones
« on: October 18, 2016, 12:04:17 pm »

Using MC for several years but haven't properly studied its interface in depth yet. Shame on me, I know.  :-[

Here's my question. I've set a default View (mostly for music) with 2 Split Views/Rows. What I want is for the bottom row to always show Playing Now. I choose "Lock View 2" and it works but I think my few Zones (with different settings, mostly for video playback) and ZoneSwitch (enabled) kind of mess this up. I end up having different Zones at the two Rows.

Is it possible to always have Playing Now at the bottom Row for the currently playing Zone i.e. can the bottow Row be locked to Playing Now but also switch to the currently playing Zone? Many thanks.

This is probably related to: Can Zone Switch also change focus?

...so I am assuming it cannot be done. Don't know for sure though.
