Media center 22 quit unexpectedly
(1/1)
all_grown_up:
I upgraded to a master license so I could run media center on my Macbook Pro as well as my windows computer (on which it runs fine)
Within moments of starting it crashes with the message "Media Center 22 quit unexpectedly)
The Macbook is relatively new with only a few programs. My library is large.
I see no posts on this issue. Is there a solution that isn't going to become a massive time sink?

This is relatively well known and common with an easy answer: You almost certainly have a bad file (or a few) in your Library and MC is trying to import a bad file, and crashes when doing so. The answer is simply to turn off auto import.
Tools > Options > Library & Folders > run auto import in background > (uncheck)
Then, if you want to figure out which file(s) it is, enable logging and then turn auto import back on. After it crashes, collect the log zip file and attach it here. More details:
