I'm about to built a music/image server with MC. I'm generally a PC guy & would like to put MC on a MiniPC and stream audio output thru my OPPO 103D for the very high quality digital to analogue conversion.
I am also a photographer & would love to buy a iPad Mini 4 for photo display & to alternatively use as a remote to MC. I know mixing vendor platforms can be an enormous challenge. Is anyone out there effectively using an iPad as a remote for a PC based MC install. If yes, tips? I do not find Gizmo or JR Remote in the Apple Store, yet some topics imply there are versions of remote that interface with iOS.
I can always go to a Samsung S2 for a tablet & use Gizmo, etc from there. I have a friend that does that from his Android phone & it's terrific. BUT, I'm buying a iPhone 7 for the camera - any tips on interfacing the iPhone with MC as a remote pls.
