WinXP compatable at v22?
« on: November 15, 2016, 04:15:34 pm »

I actually just became aware of this product.  I want to try out the new version on WinXP SP2.  Is the latest version compatible for this OS??

Otherwise, I want to download an older version known to be compatible.  How do I purchase Registration for an older version?  Will a version 22 Registration Code work with an older version?

Please advise.

If I recall correctly, XP support was dropped due to the increase in video requirements and whatnot.

And you can't purchase older versions other than the current.

P.S. Honestly you shouldn't be using XP anymore - it's very old and it's not secure and it's fair to say that maintaining software compatibility with XP isn't important anymore.

okay, Thanks for advice..

I am possibly going to try a 30-trial.  My WinXP station is used only for certain apps & not for going onto WWW.  Hope this doesn't break the rules.

Follow up - I completed the install and am able to launch the program.   Seems all is functional, but I will need to explore it more before actually purchasing..  If I can convert my DSD recordings to WAV format, I will say its as functional as I need here.  And Playback is a plus for sure.

Really happy to have found this program.
