Is there a way to display the window of MC on all visible workspaces in Gnome? Unfortunately, the title bar is not available at MC, as with a normal window.
Because MC does not work with the notification daemon, I'm looking for a way to make the MiniView window always visible

That's an interesting idea.
I played with it a bit and the windows other than the top window in MC can be set to show up in all workspaces (try it yourself on the option window).
There may be a way to add that to MC's view menu. Will check into it...
