MC21 but same problem, not with all my AAC files though. No bitrate, no timeline.

i know there can be a container issue sometimes with AAC, the container doesn't have the file duration and therefore bitrate cannot be calculated.  IIRC you can test this by putting into another container and see if the duration populates

do the trouble files have a duration attached?
