JRiver with PS audio directstream bridge 1

I recently installed Network Bridge 1 card into my PS audio directstream DAC and links it with an Ethernet cable to a Mac, no router used.

I found JRiver could not found Directstream via Ethernet, presumed I need to setup IP address and subnet on Directstream, where can I find detailed steps to set it up properly?

Appreciated your help.

I found some answers from others. Replaced ethernet cable with crossover type, manually setup IP on Mac and DS bridge then they could talk with each other :)

Hi,

You need a router between the iMac and the DAC
Or it won't work!
If you have not a router you can use the router features
of the IMac inself.
After everything is hooked open JRiver and wait 1min
You will see the ps audio. (Do you have set up jriver properly
In the dnla-audio section?)
