Just curious.......

Change: Added a television option "Use extra layer of buffer when recording in TS format", to make recently added buffering optional.  This is added in an attempt to fix a rare and inexplicable crash.  If you do not have problems, you can keep this option on.  If you have been having problems, try turning it off.

Who was having this crash? Where's the related forum topic?

Changed: Television is more robust against a rare race condition when picking tuners for tasks.

I had this problem once, and no one else reported it (or someone did but no specific clues were provided, so...).  When I tried to start watching a show live on one channel, I ended up with OSD saying it was tuning to another channel, and then a crash.  It turned out that a recording on the second channel was to start at the same time, and the same tuner was picked for both tasks.
