QNAP Beta build MC 22
gpelts:
Thanks for providing this installation package. I was able to install and configure JRiver version 22.x on my Qnap TBS-453A server. I'm hoping you can advise on the last remaining glitch. I've converted my movies from the VIDEO_TS format to mp4. The resulting mp4 files play without any issues on a windows server as well as on the same Linux server using the default Qnap video player. However, when the same video exhibits choppy playback in JRiver - it pauses for a split-second every 1-2 seconds throughout the movie. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

What are the following characteristics of the file?
Compression field
Filetype
Bitrate
You can find these when you view the file with details in MC (you may have to enable some of those fields in the view by right-clicking on the header bar with the file fields).
gpelts:
Filetype: M4V (video: h264 audio: aac)
Compression: I can't seem to find this information. The video was converted by MyMovies from a BluRay rip using the standard settings (which I can't find in MyMovies :) )
Bitrate: varies from 3k-6kbps
Note: The same video file plays without any issues on a Windows 10 htpc running JRiver Media Center 22
Thanks in advance, Greg

In the file display you click on the header and enable the display of the compression field.
I'll attach a screenshot shortly.
gpelts:
Let me know when you can attach a screenshot since I can't seem to find any way to show the Compression. Adding the [Compression] tag to the Player display doesn't show anything.
