I've asked that question several times over the course of a few years and always got a negative, not to many people ask for it, can't do it type of a reply

one answer a long time ago was there are copyright Issues with lyrics.

at one time that was true for cover-art also.

that's all I can guess.

The only song for which I wanted to look up lyrics was the song "Manjuh" that is on the album "Papillon" by Kamal. Can't even find what language it's sung in.

Lyrics are tricky because there are copyright issues involved. You can get them through open source projects because there is no one to 'go after' or in subscription based products (like plex) where part of your subscription goes to pay for a service that has the rights to share out the lyrics.

You can add them manually to JRiver but as of now there is no way to have them 'play along' like x-ray lyrics on Amazon that I am aware of.

Very easy to use: simply drag&drop some tracks from your favorite music player (e.g. iTunes) and MediaHuman Lyrics Finder will do the rest.

MediaHuman Lyrics Finder will give you access to over a million different lyrics collected from various sources on the Internet.

Very cool. 

You can do lookups on multiple albums at a time. Just select a top level folder, right click and choose Force  to Search Lyrics (Ctrl R) and it does the lookups for all the sub-folders. and writes the lyrics to the tags. With my structure, that is basically one search per artist. You then have to go into MC and copy tags to library. So, it is takes a little effort but it very straightforward.  I guess if I get brave, I could select the whole library and it would just ignore the ones with no lyrics.

Yes, but unfortunately it does not carry over to the MC tags. Even changing the font size in MC does not change the lyrics font size. A lyrics font size would be a nice option in MC.

Edit - Turns our change the font size does change the lyric font. Not sure why I did not get it to work yesterday. A separate lyric font size would still be nice.

how are you viewing them in MC? just curious cuz I'm looking for a better way to see em.

I just click on Lyrics in the tag window, then expand that to use the full left side - this is in standard view or Playing Now. If there is a better way, I would like to know about it. My old eyes would like a larger font, especially for those late night session

Mini Lyrics works great for me in conjunction with MC.

Yes, I am doing that but that process does not preserve the  font size selected in Lyrics Finder. I think the font size is for display only within the Lyrics Finder program

What really would be great if you could just drag and drop a song. I tried this on my second computer that I use for experimental programs and although I can get lyrics but it has to be from my file name instead of media center.

I stand correctly. When I tried it yesterday it did not change the lyric font size. Now it does. Not sure what I did differently. As you said, it is not the optimal solution but it can work when I am just listening. Thanks.

not hard, but getting someone to do it maybe the hardest.

Media Center has a very good SDK for creating plug-ins.

Not sure, but I think it updates all

there is a debate right now about how MC should update Ratings using this option.

I use Dreamstate every once in a while to look at the lyrics. It's the only one that looks OK when detached but it's a pain having to click the lyric button all the time.

Mini Lyrics - It's great - I really did not know it before.
You select a Folder with an Artist - get the lyrics and then in MC under librabry tools -update library (from tags) and the lyrics is stored in MC and in JRemote you can read it  .
