Hi. I am using jriver 21 on win 7 ultimate.


Just bought new smart tv samsung 6 series. All is working fine. Good stuff.


when i play movie from tv through dlna jriver server all is fine subtitles are and so on.

But for example if i play movie picking from zone [samsung tv] through pc or eos movie is on but no subtitles.

Any help?

OK I will try to put this in an easier way...

when I turn on my samsung tv and my pc is on with dlna server from jriver I can pick up some files to play on my tv eg. music, pix or movies. When I play some movie by picking through tv then subtitles are on, I can choose a language or subtitle, etc.

But when my tv is on and pc is on and when I open jriver on my pc then I got there on the left a zone which is appearing automatically named samsung tv. I can go there also through my eos. And when I try to play the same movie through jriver or eos there (so on my tv) there are no subtitles and even I can't choose a language path, only movie is playing as it wants to...

Anybody understands what I'm writing about?

Try setting the MC DLNA server settings for video to "Original". If MC is transcoding video to another format, it probably cannot include the subtitles in the new stream..
