Media Jukebox 8.0.394

When opening any apllication or a program is running on my pc while playing a playlist in MJ version 8.0.394 , the sound studders or repeat like a broken record.  This happens a lot specially when I'm browsing in the internet.  Is my sound card gone bad or something (a program, soft ware) is causing this to happen.  Please advise.

Have you tried switching to DirectSound (vs WaveOut)? See Settings>Options>Playback>Output>Mode in MJ. Play with the slider brought up by the Settings button in same location. Make sure your completely up to date on OS service packs and soundcard drivers.

Or if you have an older PC with low memory it is probably just getting bottlenecked. Happens with mine all the time. I think the OS is doing pf switching or something like that.
