MediaCenter is suddenly unregistered
« on: February 10, 2017, 10:15:40 am »

Hello

On two occasions on two different computers that have MediaCenter lost the registration and I have to create a new registration file. How can it be? The last time is right now. Yesterday when I used the MediaCenter it worked as usual but now when I started the program so it says that I have 7 days left... I registred this computer for 3 weeks ago and I checked that it really was registered, as it has happened before that MediaCenter suddenly lost registration.

Are you changing the system name?  Anything unusual about the use?

"Security" software could also do it.

Yes, I changed the name of the computer, forgot to do it when I installed. Same thing on the other computer, which also lost the license.
I did not know if that affected the MediaCenter. A little sad to waste a license on such a thing. But that's the way it is .... Maybe it will help someone else.

Thanks!

Don't worry about using up a license. JRiver can/will provide more if you need them for legitimate reasons (like your reason above).
You just need to ask on this forum and explain why you need more.
