Not sure what the problem is, but no matter how I try, I cannot get files needing cover art to SAVE the selected graphic file that is retrieved via Internet. Have tried doing this several ways, none works. Used line item file, right click/Cover Art/Internet, selected and saved. Cover art does not appear with file.  Also went into Smartlist Missing Cover Art, did same thing and then refreshed. The file needing art was dropped from the list suggesting the cover art went somewhere, but its not betting attached to tge file and therefore doesn't show up in display.

Thoughts? I know there is a simple solution that escapes this simpleton.

Cover art can be saved next to the file (same directory), or in the Cover Art central directory, or INSIDE the file, if the file supports it.

Check your settings:

Tools >Options > File Location > Cover Art > Audio Mode > (set location here)

Tools >Options > File Location > Cover Art > also store images in the file's tag
