if you would like any useful help from this forum, perhaps you could give a little more information. But, before doing so, I advise you to spend a little time reading earlier posts in this forum. A lot has been said all ready, including possible solutions.

You will find warm responses on a call for help, but it,s a two way street.

I have looked a bit further, and installed an earlier version. I'm so new to the ap that I can't tell what's wrong. I'll keep at it because I have no further interest in itunes other than backup-restore for the phone. I am a pro audio engineer wanting to have good playback quality from these devices, and also to remain in control of my options. Thanks again for the reply and suggestions.
