Listed under AUDIO, the default "categories" are ALBUM, ARTIST, FILES, GENRES, etc.  My apologies for forgetting previous discussion but I would like to add a new category (if that is the correct symantics) called WHATEVER.  WHATEVER would then contain albums which have "whatever" as a keyword.

IIRC, there was also a way to modify a "logic table" so that the contents of WHATEVER could be excluded from appearing in AUDIO > RECENT ALBUMS (or subcategory of choice). 

I tried searching the WIKI but have found that use of correct terminology plays a role in finding info on the topic, assuming it has been covered.

right click AUDIO > Add Library View...

pick one of the options for the main look, and name it WHATEVER

push OK, then right click the new view WHATEVER > Customise View...

a 3-columned window will pop up.  in the middle column, look for ...Set Rules for File Display and click

in the window that pops up, at the top there are 3 textbox entries with some drop down choices. 

keywords CONTAINS whatever

now that view will only see whatever.

right click any other view and do the same thing, except

keywords DOES NOT CONTAIN whatever

those views will not see whatever
