Cover art image display problems in 9.1
« on: July 14, 2003, 09:58:14 pm »

Since the release of beta 9.1, embedded images in music files display intermittently in Media Center with a local library and do not display at all when connected to a server. All cover art images are jpeg's from Photoshop and previously worked reliably in 9.0. Image file field indicates image inside file. There are about 18k files in the database on an internal 250 GB NTFS hard drive.

one other problem i noticed was if a GIF coverart has a jpg extender. if the extender is fliped the other way the picture will not show also.

normaly if this happens in other image programs it is displayed correctly.

I carefully checked the cover art and they are virgin jpeg's just as I created them in Photoshop from scanned CD covers. As of 9.1.214, local files show images okay but remote MC9.1 does not display images at all. Do others NOT have this problem? If so, could it be file size?
