Drive with music folder not showing in JRiver
« on: March 19, 2017, 04:46:19 pm »

I had my music on an external drive and copied them to a new ssd internal drive. I wan to use the new drive as the source and old drive as a backup. I assume I just need to go to JRiver file view and pick the new drive but the new drive is not showing up.

Do you see it in Windows?

The wiki has a topic on Moving Files .

you have to either

- re-import the library, pointing to the new location, or
- use the rename, move, copy tool (RMC) to update the database location

Thanks since I already copied all my file to a new disc I used the update database to point to a new location. It seemed to work well and fast,
