Video Card with both HDMI & Displayport connectors

Audioseduction:
My 4K DLP has a Displayport connection. My receiver only has HDMI. Can I connect my TV to the PC via display port and my receiver to the HDMI? Then have jriver display via the displayport and play audio thru the HDMI?

HDMI without an image is .. problematic. So you would likely have to send some image through the HDMI link together with the audio, otherwise it should work however.
