Enhancement Suggestions for Showing/Hiding Zones
« on: March 22, 2017, 12:03:14 pm »

With the current implementation, one has to go through following steps to show or hide a zone.

1. Right click on one of zones under Playing Now.
2. From the pop-up menu, find and click the "Show / Hide Zone" menu item to get a cascade sub-menu.
3. From the cascade sub-menu, select Show or Hide to get another cascade sub-menu.
4. Finally from the third menu, find and select the zone to show or hide.

Repeat the above process for each zone.  This can be quite tedious especially those hidden zones reappear.  One also cannot see which zones are hidden without going through the above process.

Suggestions:
#1 - Put the Hide menu option directly under each unhidden zone.
#2 - Show hidden zones as grayed out items similar to disabled sound cards shown under the Windows Sound applet (Sound1.png).
#3 - Add menu options to show or hide hidden zones on the Playing Now menu similar to the Windows Sound applet (Sound2.png).
#4 - Add the Show or Unhide menu option under each hidden zone.

Thank you!

Coming next build:
Changed: Added the right-click option to hide the zone you right-clicked on at the top of the show / hide zone menu.

Obviously not all the way there, but it's a start at least :)
