Would like to know the correct parameters to have JRiver silently install.

I found a command line parameter reference (-silent?) via Matt from a few years ago here in the forum - but when I tested an install with that parameter - the usual setup gui elements appeared on the desktop just like the always do - not exactly a silent install.

Appreciate any tips to get this working.

Cheers!

It's /Silent and that should make it not ask anything.

Matt,

Appreciate it. Does this switch also hide the GUI on install?

Because I believe I did use that exact switch. I guess I was under the assumption that like other silent installers I use - silent also means invisible too.

?

It still shows the UI.  It just doesn't stop to ask any questions.

I don't think we have any flags to hide the UI.  You could maybe set the properties on the launched executable, but I'm not sure.

Would be nice to have a switch that hides the GUI as it kind of defeats the purpose of "silent".

Ideally I would like to be able to roll out updates etc without having anything appear on screen. Easier to manage having no questions from the family :)

No biggie - but maybe something for a future build.

Cheers!
