Transfer action window not showing - Cannot transfer any file onto Pono device

Please help. The transfer option does not show, no matter what I do, once I hook up my Pono device. The only option I get is "sync". I do not want to sync. You told me to go to the handheld action window and press transfer. My action window only gives me the following options: burn disc, rip disc, sync handheld, camera, build playlist or tag.
When I call up the drive I am looking to transfer a file into, it just gives me the sync box. If I press the box to the left of the drive, it has the options of details, recheck sync, options and transfer. If I choose transfer, it wants to transfer my entire library which puts it over the limit. This is very frustrating.
