Network client approach
« on: April 02, 2017, 12:33:58 pm »

Correct me if Im wrong, but library server as it is implemented today in JRiver enables any user to see files in standard view in case library server is left in administrator mode. It does not restrict the files to users. There is one access key and one username/password autentication for all jriver clients.

What I would like to have is a implementation where:

- library server administrator would create network client accounts instead of users ( username/password )
- only library administrator can see all files and no network client can access, see, modify or play those files under any circumstances
- only library server administrator can assign access to specific file ( movie, music album,... ) to network clients
- once network client connects to his "profile", he would automatically see only those files, which were enabled by library server administrator, no need to enter passwords in theater mode and have double entries there
