Ogg Vorbis plugin version

Why is the Ogg Vorbis encoder plugin version on the download page lower than that already installed in MJ 8.0.388? (2.0.58 vs. 2.0.59)

I was looking for a faster encoder.

It's probably a typo (the file date is the same as 2.0.59 as installed on my machine). The last few versions are based on ogg v1...they all encode at the same speed.

edit > There are oggenc.exe's (out on the net) that are optimized & compiled for the Pent 4. Whether it is a truly faster encoder (vs the common PIII version)...?
