Hi,

Kind of newbie question.
For example, I have a folder named "Rock" in hard drive D and a folder also named "Rock" in hard drive F.
I create a basic file view panel using File-Location and set a filter for folder path contains "Rock".
When click on that file view panel, J River will display D: and F: first. I need to click on D: to see the content of the Rock folder in drive D and same for F:.

Is there a way to set the File-Location view so JRiver will not show D: and F: but instead directly show all the folders in "Rock" folders from those two hard drives?

You might want to post some screen shots.  I kinda sorta follow what you're saying, but a few pictures would really clarify things.  Perhaps describe what you are trying to do a little also.

set the viewing rules to:

filename (path) contains Rock
filename (path) contains D:
filename (path) contains F:

this will only display files that are included in "Rock" folders on those two drives.

I think he would need an explicit OR condition between the two path expressions.  Not 100% sure and don't feel like testing it right now...

No, you're correct blgentry.  Maybe [filename (path)] has an is any condition which would be good, I can't test right now either
