MC on Rasperry Pi with Amazon Prime Video
tyler69:
Is Amazon prime video working on the Linux version? If so, does it have SD and HD support?
Thanks!
Awesome Donkey:
Don't think so. Netflix probably doesn't work either as I believe the CEF version of Chromium and the Widevine CDM plugin (which is required for Netflix/Amazon video playback) isn't available for the Mac or Linux versions of MC, if I recall correctly.
tyler69:
Thanks, too bad. Assuming, that it works in Chrome: using an other browser than chromium is out of scope I suppose!?
mwillems:
I'm not sure any of the webviewing functionality is implemented in MC for Linux yet, but on windows it's either chromium or IE.
The good news for linux users generally is that netflix is now working in firefox, but that doesn't help at all with MC's web integration.
jim.poole:
Got it working with Firefox. Give it a try.
