Cover Art does not display in view(s)

(1/2) > >>

Couch:
I'm excited to have the latest MC. AND on my Mac and PC.
I'm running the server on the desktop PC. Client MC on the Powerbook.

In an attempt to get MC to go full-screen (it does but not like apps that create their own desktop when doing that) I was trying out the different views. Then I was curious about 'Audio Only' mode - Music is my primary use of MC. And somewhere in there the Cover art now displays a blank hole - like a grid under a transparent img - where the cover art should be in any view.

It does show in the image window in the sidebar and updates as the playlist advances but the view port only shows the transparency grid.

This is now true for Standard, Display, and Cover Views - any view with the app UI. The cover art shows in Theatre View.

Couch:
A quick note - When in Standard view - when I stop playback the cover art flashes for a second and then is replaced by the play doctor button and options.

blgentry:
Try taking it out of Audio Only mode.  Try restarting MC on the Mac.  Try restarting MC on the PC *and* the Mac.  Good luck.

Brian.

Couch:
Thanks @bigentry, I neglected to state I had taken the Mac client out of Audio mode.

I did do as you recommended; shut down both client and server MCs, Mac & PC. And then restarted both machines.
I'm still seeing the blank space where cover art should be.

Couch:
I've continued to poke around a bit -
I'm convinced it's something to do with 'Views'.

Perhaps the following screen shots can shed some light.
The options for currently playing display window differ on the server (Seuss) Play list vs. the local one (Izzy)

I added a view to see what would happen (3D Album Art) - as I can't seem to figure out how to customize the view I'm trying to restore currently playing album art to. And I get the DirectX error you see in the screenshot.
