JRiver Media Center 22.0.108 for Mac -- Available Here

JimH:
If you just installed, MC may be doing other background tasks, like looking for cover art or analyzing files.

Zsolt Andrasy:
Something I don't understand. My MC22 installation is old, I just replaced to the latest version 3 days ago. Using the Activity Monitor I can see 17% CPU use of MC22 - without playing any file! See attached screenshot.

^ It would be better for you to start new topics about the problems you are reporting.

I've experienced MC using CPU when music or video files are PAUSED. Pressing stop makes all the CPU time go to zero.  Not sure why this happens, but it does.

I agree there is something amiss with views.
I did Reset all Library Views to default.
And I had reinstalled MC prior to the update posted today. I had hoped the update would flush it out.
Since it did not I'm thinking I may need to purge the settings saved elsewhere?

Regarding the screenshots (last 2) - I thought it was weird the context menu was different for Izzy (here) and Seuss (there).
And that Image Playback Settings option does nothing - no pop-up - nothing.

Is there a directory outside of the MC install directory that I can delete and re-install MC? Since it persists after a reinstall and an upgrade I'm thinking MC is pulling in some setting file that has been corrupted, etc.

Dunno - just trying to fix it.

Couch:
Resolved: View is fixed. Album art is showing in Playing Now.

* Deleted the "/Applications/Media Center 22"
* Deleted the folder under "/Users/[myusername]/Library/Application Support",
* Reinstalled MC 22.0.108,
* Reconnected to my host library.
* Played a song.
