Composer mixed up with Artist tag
bnilsson11:
My MC22 mixes up Tag "Composer" with "Artist", an album with tracks tagged with the correct (same) Artist and (different) Composer shows up with one thumbnail per track.
In the tag view, the entry for "Composer" is actually showing up as "Artist", so it is not only the sorting or the way it is displayed.
Is this a setting I have missed, or is it a bug? Annoying it is, anyway.

It's not clear what's happening based on your description. Open the tagging window (edit > tag) and look at the tags. What do you see for artist and composer? Are they what you expect?
Maybe post a screen shot to illustrate what you see and what you expect to see.
Brian.
bnilsson11:
Composer apparently overrides Artist.
My reference is the kid3 tag editor, where I can see all tags in a file.
If there is a tag "Composer" with a content, this content is shown in MC22 as "Artist", both in the column view and the tag section at the bottom left.
Since the Album thumbnail is repeated for different artists in the same album, I get multiple Album thumbnails.

Please use MC's tagging window. It will show you every tag that MC sees. It can even do a "tag dump" of the internal tag data if necessary.
If you don't see the all the tags in MC's tagging window, pull down the gear menu at the upper left and select show all tags.
Brian.

Sorry, I just discovered something.
The Artist and Composer gets mixed up when I am using the MinimServer representation of my library.
If I disable the MinimServer and use a sshfs share mount instead, the behavior is very different.
I need to get back with a more detailed description later to sort this out.
About tagging from MC22, I am not even sure if MinimServer is read-only or not.
If it os RO, tagging from MC22 is not possible if I use MinimServer.
