I recently added an Onkyo TX-8160 to my audio network and It's awesome. I've finally entered the world of zones with MC.

My question is regarding the lack of communication with MC if I use anything other than MC to control music sent to it.

For example my phone was dead and therefore no JRemote so I used the Onkyo (physical) remote to navigate the music library in MC and played an album. Curious if it would update MC - I checked the server (Windows 10, MC 22) and found the playing now did not show what was, well, playing.

Is it even possible for MC to and update like that?
