Unstable with PS Audio Bridge

(1/5) > >>

emailists:
Since Upgrading to Sierra (10.12.4) Media Center has been extremely unstable  - and problematic also with PS Audio Bridge over ethernet.   It was much more stable on Yosemite.

I did upgrade to latest 22.0.08 and have found it no better than official release.

Any thoughts?

Recently (since upgrading from MC21 to 22) and the latest version I have noticed that whenever I launch JRemote on my iPad mini and it goes to connect to my computer that the currently playing song in MC abruptly stops and MC crashes.  JRemote never does connect.  This doesn't happen every time but about every other time.  Never happened with MC21.  Makes using it as a DLNA server mostly useless.

The above post bring up a good point .   I'm also using JRemote and while it does work, sometimes when I connect (music is playing) the song playing stops And media center crashes.   So pehaps it's the same issue - JRemote crashing MC.

Sounds like the same issue i'm having... not every time but at least half the time this happens.

I've had dozens of MC crashes when MC was being used as either a DLNA source, or as a DLNA "push".  All of these happened with DLNA devices that had poor quality network connections.

I have never (that I can remember) had MC crash when connecting with a remote control program.  I have only used Gizmo and EOS though.  Not JRemote.

I wonder if the quality of the connection might be influencing this with JRemote also?  Just guessing based upon my experience.

Brian.
