I have MC22 running on a Windows 7 computer as the music server (MSvr). I also have a Simaudio 260D/DAC (MOON). The MOON plays CDs through the same DAC as MSvr. MOON has their own drivers that are installed on the server(MSvr). The volume is set to 100% on the server. The DAC feeds into a preamp (Air Tight) and from there the amplifier. The DAC is the common point for the two outputs.
At this point if I play a CD followed by the same music from the server, the volume from the CD is significantly louder than from JRiver running on MSvr. Does JRiver have internal controls that can raise the volume level to that from the CD?
