Playing a movie on a projector (second monitor)
(1/1)
globetrotters1:
Well, it sounds dumb, as I work with MC since many years, but I have no idea anymore where I can tell MC that I want to play my movies of a certain zone on my projector (=second monitor HDMI). Since many years it works on Windows, now on Linux (although I imported all the settings) the movies in the same zone play only on the main monitor.
Could someone please be so nice to help me find that setting?! Also with searching around I haven't found it. I can just remember that I somewhere told MC many years ago to play the movies of my 'theater' zone on monitor 2... but where the heck is that setting?
Thanks a lot!
globetrotters1:
Not possible the same way as in the Windows version?? ?
mojave:
The setting on Windows is in Tools > Options > Tree & View > Full Screen.

sorry, I asked for the Linux version... how can I play the movies in Linux Mint 18.1 on the second monitor ?
I checked and within the Linux version it just says "Monitor" and resolution "Desktop settings", nothing else...
It seems that the projector (=Monitor 2) is not recognized at all
Have to mention perhaps that my setup is
Monitor 1 = 4K system desktop (3840x2160)
Monitor 2 = HD projector (1920x1080)
which otherwise works well in Linux Mint 18.1 Serena Cinnamon (I see both monitors, also the projector in Display settings - and no, they are not mirrored)
only in MC 22 there is no other monitor...
Furthermore there is nothing else than 'Desktop resolution'...
Pretty annoying
