This is positive, I think.

The user who wrote the apology is credited with having done the stupid video that our president reposted on his Twitter account.  It is thought that it may inspire violence against the press.

The user deserves credit for trying to make things right and talking about how reckless behavior on the Internet can have real consequences.

The president would do well to follow in his footsteps.
