Basic Parametric EQ Questions

I have looked at the Wiki on the PEQ. Is there a limit on the number of filters and that is why there is a PEQ 2? What are the limits of the Q values? The Gain values? Is this documented somewhere? Will the number of filters affect performance of either MC or the audio quality? Should filters be in Frequency order?

There's no limit on the number of filters.

There's a "Parametric Equalizer 2" because sometimes you need to do some things early in the chain and sometimes you need to do things later in the chain.
