Kinda OT: Mozilla Firebird support
« on: July 04, 2003, 09:50:30 am »

I was trying to use the forum today at work wher I have Mozilla Firebird as my browser and I couldn't get the pages to cach properly.  When I checked the source there is a script in there which stops the foruim caching on pages containing Gecko in the User Agent.  I tried spoofing the user agent but to no avail.  Was just wondering if anyone using Firebird had managed to get the pages to cache properley and also why this script is in there.

Cheers

The go at about the same speed for me.

Tabbed browsing is the big advantage for Firebird.  I think that I'd die trying to read through forum's w/o it.  Go down through the list, middle click on anything I want to read, then click "mark read"  Then go and start reading.
