Today I upgraded to MC23 and in the process of installing by following your, to me, somewhat opaque instructions, I inadvertently generated a restore and received the following email:

"You have recently restored a licence for Media Center 23 Master. There are 20 restores available in each 12 month period.  There are 19 restores remaining at this time."

Since I have only one original installed copy on one machine, I would appreciate your restoring my restore count to 20.

Registering MC using the registration code will always consume one restore, and they automatically re-fill over time. There is nothing to worry about, its just working as designed.
If you have multiple systems you are installing on, you can use the Install Key that you got in an email to avoid consuming multiple restores in a short period.
