I purchased the MC 23 update some time ago, but multiple attempts at moving over the library and playlists have been completely unsuccessful.  I backed up the MC 22 main library, then opened MC 23 and clicked restore library, but the MC 22 library does not come over completely and none of the playlists transfer over.  When I restore the library in MC 23 it looks like it is trying to restore a library from MC 23 and not the back up from MC 22.  Any advice on what I’m doing wrong is much appreciated.

There's probably some simple misunderstanding going on.  I've transferred my library from MC20 to 21, to 22, to 23, all with no issues.

In MC22:  File > Library > Back Up Library .  Remember where this file is and what it's file name is!

In MC23:  File > >Library > Restore Library > choose the file you created above

Thanks Brian.  Not sure what we were doing wrong, but cleared the libraries from MC 23, tried again with your simple instructions, and looks like we are all set.
